Reem Rice Mills has the largest and highly innovative Paddy Cleaning, Drying & Storage facilities in Pakistan today & is the only modern rice mill in operation at present with Paddy Storage Silos of 14, 000 MT capacity. Our imported Italian steel silos are equipped with latest paddy temperature monitoring system linked with an excellent aeration system for each silo to maintain inner paddy temperature at desired safe levels to keep paddy cool and healthy till its milling & are computerized controlled. All movement of paddy is carried out through mechanical conveying system of 25 MT/hour capacities under most hygienic conditions without involving manual labour.

Basmati Paddy at the time of harvesting has a very high percentage of Moisture upto 18-20% & contains lot of Impurities such as Trash, Dust & Stones etc. For safe & healthy storage, the Paddy needs to be cleaned & its Moisture brought down to 12-13% which is ideal for milling & safe storage.

Reem rice utilizes its most modern 3 x 20 M. Tons/per hour pre-cleaning & Drying Plants to clean the paddy & make it absolutely free from all impurities and foreign matters and bring down its moisture to 12-13 % level by slow dry process for safe storage in silos.
